Senior Portraits

This is probably the most frequently asked question about senior photos. There’s a simple answer. Wear what makes you feel good & most like yourself.

We usually tell people to avoid certain colors or patterns. Busy patterns & clothes with writing (especially big logos across the chest) can be distracting. Some colors don't photograph well but sometimes it’s fun to break all the rules & wear that wild shirt. Just let us know before hand so we can plan accordingly for your location.

DON'T CUT YOUR HAIR!
Well, we don’t mean never cut your hair. Just don’t cut it right before pictures. Plan your session at least 2-3 weeks after a haircut. That will give your hair a chance to grow into its new style.

Yes, Absolutely!
Remember, Senior Photo's are a way to highlight specific things about your High School career. So bring props to the shoot that are meaningful to you. We can work with your uniforms, musical instruments, sports equipment, even a car! We want to make your pictures an expression of who you are right now & these activities are part of your identity.

We are fully prepared to guide you through posing so that you look great! We also don't want you to have the same photographs as everyone in your class so lets show your individuality! We encourage you to take some freedom here & let us know all of your ideas for your session.

This is another common question. We give you the freedom to pick your locations & we go from there. Depending on the vision of your sessions local parks, city street or the High School for athletic photos are always a classic!

We understand that not everyone enjoys being photographed & it's become uncool to be in photos. Let's keep in mind that these senior photos aren't just for you. They are for your family to enjoy as a keepsake & to show off to your friends. So we want you to be who you are & just allow us to capture that.
